|    Pascal book recommendations    |

From: michowe773@yahoo.com              Hi,              I'm interested in learning the Turbo Pascal dialect of the Pascal       programming language. Pascal seems like an enjoyable language to       work with. I know a little Pascal, but I want to learn as much as       I can so I can take advantage of the capabilities of the language.       I'm looking for books that cover the basics of the language, as       well as advanced programming topics such as memory management,       data structures, and possibly software engineering. I don't want       to buy too many books, 3 or 4 is my limit.                     These are the books that I have in mind:              "Oh! Pascal!: Turbo Pascal 6.0" by Doug Cooper       "Mastering Turbo Pascal 6" by Tom Swan       "Algorithms + Data Structures = Programs" by Niklaus Wirth                     Someone suggested that the first two books are the best books on       Pascal/TP, and probably the only books that I'll need. They are       easy to find used also.                     Any suggestions are appreciated!              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
