    I will third Marco on Jeff Duntemann. I have a > 10 year old   
   copy of The Complete Turbo Pascal (third edition) It is the most   
   beat to death book in my entire Library because it has gotten so   
   much use. When I started with fpc last Fall It was still my most   
   useful reference this many years later.
