   Correct, but the splitting/selling is more a result of that failure than a   
   repetition. At least that is what they say. They want the split of compiler   
   division to be able to return to its roots.   
      
   In the meanwhile, the final pricing is known. It is $500, but unlike most   
   software tools, it is actually cheaper in Euro's. (roughly proportional to   
   the exchange rate).   
      
   I got the feeling that NW Europe is Delphi's main territory (from the   
   layoffs' press statement), so that could be a possible reason for the   
   correct pricing.
