   Hello,

this free version is said to have the same limitation for db usage as
the professional edition. So you can use databases (e.g. via dbExpress
or ado) but not all only desktop ones. So this is a huge difference to
the personal editions where afaik no db support at all was included. In
the explorer version even a developper version of Interbase will be
included (they say in official blogs and websites).
