   aehmmm shame .. thanks. The soft reboot was for quick dev/download iteration   
   in absence of a comfortable reset switch at the device (besides the heavy   
   Power switch). I wondered a while why it worked "often" - but with random side   
   effects though i masked    
   all interrupts etc. before doing the jump :-)
