*** I got the file and expanded it under DR-DOS 7.03. It runs fine.

Graphic Vision has a Windows Explorer-like look and runs smoothly. It
can change screen resolutions and colour depth on the fly (one of my
favourite things about many DOS programs), and it can have multiple
file windows open that can be resized and moved at will. As with other DOS
shells, one may set up a program "Start" menu, do file maintenance,
   editing, etc.

Jason: I did not take the time yet to review all the documentation. Is
there a way to alphabetise the "Start" menu programs? Can one return to
the shell after a program has been started - say via a hot key
combination? I would also prefer that the .cfg file be in plain text so
that it could be edited directly.

My first impression is that Graphic Vision would be suitable for DOS
users that want a graphic shell but without having to have the intrusion
of Windows. Give it a try, people.
