   That will all depend on the VESA VBE of the host machine. If the VBE   
   supports certain non-standard resolutions, such as those used by widescreen   
   monitors, then so will GV based applications.   
      
   The current version of GV[FM] supports non-banked 4bpp (ie up to 800x600)   
   and 8, 15 and 16bpp banked and LFB modes up to 1600 pixels wide. I've since   
   added 32bpp support as well, which will give the next version of GV[FM] true   
   colour capability.
