   Besides all questions of RR, I'm abit confused what the problem really is.   
   It skips lines of code, or won't trace into library routines?   
      
   In the former, try to turn optimizations off. Some simple lines might be   
   optimized away (though IIRC is that more a Delphi than TP thing)
