   After wallowing about in the 386SX class CPU upgrades, I see no IBM CPU   
   upgrades with external L2 cache. It's all internal.   
      
   Kingston did make a CPU upgrade with small cache, but I think that's L1.   
   YMMV.   
      
   My SWAG is L2 on a 16-bit bus is questionable, you have to do two   
   transfers to get 32-bits.   
      
   Please name for me any 386SX or SLC system with L2 cache.   
      
   8570-Axx has cache on the Power Platform.   
   8580-Axx has cache on the system board.   
      
   These are 386DX systems.
