   A Phoenix or Award BIOS would probably work reasonably well, it would not be a   
   perfect fit.  The "core" of the BIOS for 386SX, 386DX and 486 machines were   
   all very similar, the manufacturer would add (or contract to have added) some   
   specifics best suited    
   to their motherboard design.  Since you've found a working SETUP program,   
   there's no need for that attempt now.
