   Yes, QIC (Quarter Inch Cartridge) tapes, probably low density where you'd get   
   40-60MB on each tape depending on how much compression is involved in the   
   backup.  There were a number of 16-bit Microchannel QIC adapters on the   
   market.  I would have liked to    
   see which model of Tek scope was on the floor.  I'm guessing that the 8525s   
   only had the floppy drive to keep the system cost "reasonable".
