   I also revised and debugged the IRQ handling code, it does not seem to me like   
   the card is spamming more interrupts than needed.   
   No erroneous data IRQs, no error IRQs. Only regular Rx and Tx.   
   CPU load is still at 100 % on my test system.   
   I use TuneUp 97 which has a nice system load view built in.
