   That must be Kevin's interrupt rate.   
   For the same total data rate, many small packets are more difficult than a few   
   larger ones.   
      
   What's also interesting is Lionel's 486-era Pentium Overdrive 83 versus   
   Wolfang's "real" Pentium 90 - what a huge gap.   
   Pretty much like comparing the RS6k workstation and server.   
   So MHz is not everything (but it surely helps...).
