      Much ink has been spilt over Canada becoming the 51st state.   
      
   It _IS_ interesting, the idea of having sway over the legions of burly   
   lumberjacks and the alluring women, but... We are sub-zero at night for   
   the next week. Alberta Clipper...   
      
   So, the ideal of assuming my rightful lordship over a vast swath of the   
   [former] province of Alberta _does_ have panache. English speaking...   
   Mentally advanced enough to understand the concept of the US Dollar   
   instead of Beaver pelts...   
      
   It is obvious that -15 F is cause for celebration up in Alberta, time to   
   rummage through their dressers for shorts, flip-flops, and suntan   
   lotion. But down here in sub-tropical southern Wisconsin, such temps   
   injure our banana groves...   
      
   So, it is with great sadness that I will not assume my rightful station   
   in Alberta :( , but instead, I will continue to stand the Long Watch   
   over the Cheddar Curtain. My sacrifice will keep the hordes of escapees   
   [Illinois] from reaching the northland, thereby protecting your limited   
   supply of cheese curds.
