My name is Nobody.              When Nimoy went on "Next Generation" it made sense. He advanced       his character of Spock, bringing him forward many decades into the       future. It made Spock a more complex and interesting character. It       wasn't just done for ratings. It was part of the essential       evolution of the Trek universe.              If Shatner goes on "Enterprise" we all know damned well it will be       just for the money -- for Shatner, the last few dollars he can       screw out of the Trek franchise, and for the studio, the income       his appearance will generate in future airings and sales of the       episodes. Who thinks Kirk's character (assuming Shatner were to       play Kirk) would be advanced at all? Right, nobody. You're the       only one, Nobody. You're all alone out there.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
