   Worse than that, isn't it simply amazing how nobody in the Federation   
   seemed to bat an eye at the changes? Kirk didn't see Kor and say, "What   
   the? You're not a Klingon. Klingons have scrotum heads." Similarly,   
   Kirk didn't look at the TMP Klingons and wonder why they went back.   
   Meanwhile, Bashir and company over at DS9 seemed genuinely surprised   
   and totally ignorant about smooth-headed Klingons, like they've never   
   had a history lesson. I don't know about you, but if say, all Soviet or   
   Russian soldiers suddenly became black men for a few decades then just   
   as suddenly reverted to Caucasians, Americans would know about it and   
   want to know why it happened. It sure as heck wouldn't be forgotten.
