   And Kirk's generation apparently having encountered both, somehow that   
   information isn't passed onto the DS9 generation 100 years later? Are   
   you saying in your theory that Section 31 suppressed not one, but two   
   wholesale changes in Klingon appearance? Which would be militarily   
   about as stupid as you can get. Klingons may have two vastly different   
   appearances, but we as Starfleet Command will only tell you lowly   
   grunts what the last few we encountered look like.
