   The newer shows haven't been that much better, and once you lose an audience   
   and lose that "goodwill", it takes a while to get it back...dummy.

   Point granted (i thought N was a fine movie), but perhaps years of sucky   
   voyager and then the lackluster new Enterprise series had killed the market
