   A personal note.   
      
   In Canada, we lagged somewhat behind the United States in adopting the   
   latest technical advances.   
      
   At the local fair, Klondike Days, the new innovation of "color television"   
   was demonstrated one summer - the summer before Star Trek came to   
   television - using the Star Trek episode "Where No Man Has Gone Before".   
      
   And, of course, there was a *reason* they gave the redshirts RED shirts.
