   Lousy characterization is probably my biggest beef with the show. The   
   characters on ENT are like hand-puppets, and the way they behave and   
   interact seems dependent on the needs of the plot or the relative talents   
   of the writers rather than anything that reflects who the characters are   
   as people or what values they hold.   
      
   While character inconsistencies have cropped up in all the Trek series   
   from time to time, this series has the worst and most blatant examples of   
   it.
