   As I've told you a couple of time now, I do not   
   say that Kirk definitely did not give them weapons.   
   In fact I make no assertion at all about what Kirk   
   did.   
      
   I merely ask how you know that he NEVER gave them   
   the weapons. Certainly he didn't give them weapons   
   during the episode. But that doesn't mean he wouldn't   
   give them the weapons afterwards.   
      
   It could have gone either way, couldn't it?
