   IMHO, it's clear enough what would happen later, because the PD   
   constraints they are under, and their attitudes about them, is clear   
   enough.  We are never given any reason to think that their rules and   
   their attitudes about the rules would drastically change, ever.  There   
   is no reason therefore to assume that anything would be drastically   
   different after episode's end.   
      
   We also are never, in all of TOS, given any reason whatsoever to think   
   that Tyree ever got Enterprise produced weapons.  Not in a later   
   episode, and not in the movies.  Therefore I say that they never got any   
   weapons from Kirk.   
      
   If someone wishes to assert that they did, then they are obliged to   
   explain why they think that, and produce evidence to support their   
   assertion.  The absence of evidence proves nothing.  The presence of   
   what evidence exists supports my assertions.  IMHO, the entirety of   
   evidence available is on my side, therefore I stand firm by my   
   statements.
