   No, I typed what I meant.  We already know that   
   a myriad of species exist in Star Trek's without   
   our knowing their or their history of interaction   
   with humanity.

   Wrong.  That would be an indication that the Suliban didn't   
   have cloaking devices.  Which of course they didn't before   
   people from the future came back and gave them cloaking   
   devices.
