   I think you accidentally typed a contraction, it   
   should read "there is nothing in earlier trek   
   to indicate that the Suliban or Xindi DID exist."   
      
   Also on nothing versus something....   
      
   Fact 1   
   Spock is shocked when the romulans   
   have a cloaking device - something he regards as merely   
   theoretical until then.   
      
   Fact 2   
   The Original series is earlier trek.   
      
   Fact 3   
   Suliban use cloaking devices.   
   Xindi might I don't remember   
   for sure.   
      
   Therefore   
   Fact 1 is there exists "something"   
   in earlier trek (Fact 2) that indicates the suliban didn't exist   
   (due to fact 3).   
      
   Note that calling this something says nothing about   
   the strength of the case, but merely that it exists,   
   and thus disproving a "there is nothing" statement.
