   Well considering BILL PAXTON is the Dad, you would have to consider that the   
   kids would have to look as cartoonish as he does. They really look a lot   
   like the original puppet family. I imagine that perhaps they wanted the   
   people to look like the puppets. If so, they have done a great job of   
   casting what looks like a bunch of mannequins for some 1960s WASPy kids'   
   fashion catalog. The only thing that could have made this cast look more   
   corny would have been Macauley Culkin.
