   How do you know he doesn't need the money? Unless you're privy to his   
   personal finances, you have no idea what he needs.   
      
   He has mortgages on his homes and horse farms to pay and who knows what   
   else. Maybe he took a loss in the stock market recently.   
      
   The point is, you don't know what he needs and what he doesn't and even   
   if he's flush with cash, it's rather presumptuous of you to decide for   
   him that what he has is enough and that he doesn't need any more.
