   Spiner's emotional attachment to the Soong character is obvious in the work.   
   There was no consideration given to Spiner playing a different character.   
   Soong is going to be a hard act to follow.   
      
   The buzz:   
   Coto knows he has to do something to strengthen the main characters in order to   
   make us care about them more.   
   There will be changes. The cast themselves desire changes although no one wants   
   to get dead.   
      
   You shouldn't expect guest stars to carry the show every week.   
   Although it has worked on series TV before.   
   Look at many of the shows from the seventies and eighties.
