As depicted in the series, when he has full use of his powers, Q is
essentially omnipotent, and borderline omniscient. The Borg would be
no more a challenge for him than an earthworm or a butterfly.

BUT! One episode involved Q being stripped of his powers, rendered a
mortal with a normal human body, and plopped off on board Enterprise.
He was not, apparently, stripped of his knowledge, because when
presented with an engineering problem he said somethign to the effect
of "change the gravitational constant of the universe, make your
adjustments, put it back". Geordi then extended the ship's Something
Something field to do a small-scale version of Q's idea.

SO, if the Borg attacked during the period when Q had no powers, and
assimilated him, it seems that they would get the sum of all his
knowledge. That might be cause for concern among anyone who didn't
   want to be assimilated.
