   Not sure what "search for spock" has to do with this, other than someone   
   already recognized the Pon Farr thing was canon for vulcans   
      
   No never even implied that Droxana's people had it too,....but maybe they   
   did, however she should have known more about it if that was the case.   
      
   She obviously had heard that Vulcans only do it once every seven years.   
   So if that rumor was floating from planet to planet, and no one had   
   disproved it,....well,....then it very likely is true.   
      
   But I guess Abrams and the 4 year olds who wrote the screenplay, were   
   graduates of the the Bermen Braga skoohl of gooder trek learnin'.
