I didn't know him when Star Trek first       ran so I don't know if he was doing it then. One famous incident       was when the CBC here ran "The Prisoner" in the late seventies, and he       decided to record one episode, which happened to be one where Six       escapes, and much of the episode has no dialogue.              My friend was the first person I knew to get a VCR, in the fall       of 1980.              And certainly people did take screenshots with their camera. I       remember seeing articles from the time of the first moon landing       explaining the best way to do it.              > Oh, yes, in the spring of 1968, my family got our very first color TV       > set. I       think I saw "The Menagerie" in a movie theatre in the seventies before       I saw Star Trek in color on TV.               Michael              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
