   If that was true then this whole thing - questioning internal storyline   
   continuity - could have been dealt with by Riker simply muttering   
   "Computer...", then a camera cut to the scene to show that this is what   
   Riker wanted - a post-death / pre-death interview with Trip.   
      
   I believe most of us agree that it was the original, pre-death / pre-death   
   Trip visit to chef. The main problem is the way the film editing was   
   handled, which raises these huge questions. This is what I mean "some   
   people already have expressed confusion". Editing should /never/ be   
   confusing; the film editing should have been undeniable in implying what was   
   occurring. Therefore the editing, the story continuity - or both - were   
   horrid.
