   I really hated the way Voyager writers kept using the prefix "iso" on   
   things, to make them sound more techie.  "Iso" means "equal" (isometric, for   
   example, meaning has sides of equal length).  So in the otherwise excellent   
   "Equinox" when they start talking about "iso-grams of dilithium crystals" I   
   suddenly lose my suspension of disbelief and start muttering that nobody   
   asked Andre Bormanis about the script.
