   The episode indicates that the E-D is nowhere near Earth or even in the   
   Sol system at the time the tests were being conducted, so we can assume   
   that is possible that at least some of the galaxies in question (there's   
   other canidates as well), that could just as easily have been the ones the   
   E-D went through.
