   That is usually an issue with the player and the individual disc - my copy   
   plays perfectly on my Denon 2200.  Make sure the surface of the DVD is clean   
   and free of scratches; dirt and scratches will cause the effect you mention.   
   There is also known issues with some discs and some players - it's not an   
   exact science.
