   we in the goth scene often emulate that style too. I don't do the makeup   
   bit though, I am too blokey and look like a footballer in drag if I   
   attempt it. but I do enjoy velvet and satin and long pirate coats.   
   actually most of the time I do look like a pirate.... (in clubs that is)
