   SNIPPING HAS OCCURRED   
      
   Again, this is a monumentally horrid idea.  The buzz in Hollywood is that   
   this is going to be a pig of biblical proportions.  This isn't the movie   
   fans want to see.  I've said that many times here.  And I've also said that   
   the best thing that could happen to the franchise is for a hostile takeover   
   of Paramount to take place and everyone from the parking lot attendant on up   
   gets fired.  Then get some people in there who want to make a movie the   
   public, not just Star Trek fans, will want to see.   
      
   I'll have to see what my two little gossip cuties have to say about this.   
   If anyone has the latest poop, it's them.
