   "Open" doesn't mean "acceptance". We know what we know. This is young Kirk   
   and Spock at the academy, played by other actors. Maybe that's enough for   
   some people to say "I'm not interested". Of course, others would want us   
   to unquestioningly lap up everything Paramount serves us. No thanks.
