   Poor battery life might rule it out but they could be set up like the air   
   brakes on big trucks. The brakes are normally applied when there is no air   
   pressure. It saves chasing 53' trailers around the lot.   
      
   The downside is this time of year with slop from the roads and freezing   
   temperatures they can freeze in the applied position and the air solenoid   
   doesn't have the force to break them loose. Enter 5# hammer and much   
   cursing.
