   Bears aren't that polite. The bike is pretty quite and I've surprised more   
   than one bear in the middle of a forest road taking a dump. Why squat in   
   the brush with stuff tickling your butt?   
      
   Segue to the old joke: Does a bear shit in the woods? Not if it can find a   
   Porta-Potty.   
      
   There's also something that seems to prefer rocks in the middle of the   
   trail. I think it's something in the weasel family but I may be wrong.
