     As others have mentioned there are alternative methods without the   
   same username/password on every system or with the same username/   
   password, but where that username is not a normal logon username.   
      
     After having some difficulty adding a new Windows 11 system as a   
   replacement for an 'old Windows 10 one, I added the pseudo user   
   'Everyone' to the shares and gave it sufficient permissions. Perhaps not   
   the most ideal setup, security-wise, but quite acceptable for our small   
   trusted local network (only two machines).
