   Since I run the conversion a hundred times a day, I've scripted it to quick   
   commands such as "Win+R > n" to bring up Notepad++.   
      
   Then I paste the copied text from source 1 (usually using "ctrl+v").   
   I do that for source 2, source 3, source 4, etc., as needed.   
   Each source can use completely different character sets.   
      
   Once I have the final copied source from a variety of inputs,   
   then I select all the pasted text (usually using "ctrl+a").   
      
   Then I run the macro (which is defined as "ctrl+b").   
      
   Now everything is cleaned up.   
   A quick "ctrl+x" pulls it out of Notepad++ for pasting into the final   
   editing tool (which could be a script to run in Windows, for example).   
      
   Batch scripts hate curly quotes, for example.
