   You can set certain groups for offline use,   
      
      
   tools/account settings, synchronisation and storage   
      
   set a number of days (e.g 365) history to keep, then tell TB to go   
   File/Offline/Download/sync now and then go offline, it'll do a large   
   download depending on the group, remember to make the "remove bodies   
   from messages" longer than the number of days messages you've   
   downloaded, or they'll get deleted pretty soon after you've spent time   
   downloading them
