   Because...  fwiw I can download gpx track files from my Amazfit fitness   
   tracker. It gives the trackpoint coordinates as   
      
      
      
   Anything over 5 decimal places is wishful thinking for consumer grade   
   receivers.  Part of it may be converting degrees, minutes, and seconds to   
   decimal degrees.   
      
   iow, it isn't only Apple.
