   On this device, M365 Family (Outlook Desktop[Classic])

     -  Autocomplete entries appear in a separate dialog box(each item can   
   be deleted using the Delete key or selecting the entry in the dialog box   
   and clicking the 'X')   
   On another device(same M365 Family edition, same Microsoft account)   
     =>  2512 (Build 19530.20108)  i.e. same product, same account, later   
   deployed Build.   
      -  Exact same results - Autocomplete entries appear in a separate   
   dialog box(each item can be deleted using the Delete key or selecting   
   the entry in the dialog box and clicking the 'X')   
      
   You might try resetting Autocomplete - toggle off, close Outlook,   
   restart device, logon, open Outlook, toggle on.   
      
   Also, if more than one email address(using Exchange or IMAP) is   
   configured in Outlook ensure that your Autocomplete concern exists in   
   each account(they each have their own email address contact list). POP3   
   configured accounts default to the built-in default Contacts(in   
   Outlook.pst).
