   employer, Facebook/Meta, had internal research into the undesirable   
   effects of their own services on their users, which they simply

   After she blew the whistle, did any of these companies take heart, and   
   reform their operations to be better for their users?   
      
   Not a bit of it. Instead, they stopped collecting the data that showed   
   the harm was happening. And threatened and blocked any independent   
   researchers who tried to uncover the same.
