   I was throwing a signal saying left bank lean on my V6  with O2 sensor   
   as the probable cause. My symptoms weren't as drastic as yours but   
   cleaning the MAS (Mass Air Sensor) cured it. The check engine light   
   hasn't came on since then. A lot cheaper than replacing the O2 sensor.
