   If it is the same as the '87 I had the switch is in the cab where the   
   line goes into the evaporator coil. The expansion valve is there too.You   
   really need somebody to put the gauges on it. When my system developed a   
   slow leak the system shut down. After fixing the leak (new evaporator   
   coil) and having the tech pull a vacuum on it, he recharged it and   
   everything worked fine again.
