   Perfect world scenario is probably 22 city/25 hwy - 4cyl  manual.   
      
   Diesel might be slightly better.   
      
   IMO, there's really no "good/great" mileage in any truck out there.  If you   
   can get a truck that will stay in the 20mpg range and does the work you need   
   it to do, then that's about as good as it gets.
