From: xxzzabc@xxyyzzqztrg.com              My Tacoma has 74,000 miles on it. I've never had brake work. Today I brought       it to a brake shop. The guy said the back brakes were in great shape. The       front pads still has a third left. He said the rotors were thinning- and had       a mirror like finish. When I finally replace the pads, I'll definitely need       to replace the rotors. Not sure what the following means but it's on the       bill: DISCARD FR ROTOR AT: .787 R MAHCINE TO LIMIT: 11.693.              If they really need to be replaced, fine- but it won't be cheap so I need       further advice. Of course I'll go to some other shops too.              I just assumed that if you didn't scrape the rotors- they could last much       longer.              Joe              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
