I tip rather high. Usually       25-30% for excellent service, nothing for extremely lousy service.              Lets say we do things your way. Raise the minimum wage for unskilled       entry level jobs to $30/hr. Would that make you happy? What do you       think the end result of doing so would be? Would such peoples standard       of living and buying power go up? Hardly.
